Morning Star O’s
A ministry for folks age 50+ based on psalm 52:8

If you’re 50 or older, you’re an O!
The Morning Star O’s is for everyone—single and married—who’s 50 and older. Knowing how very busy life is in these years, the O’s offers a variety of no-pressure opportunities to grow, serve, and share. While many O’s are already involved in Community Groups and Bible studies, O’s events provide one more way for adults on the sunny side of 50 to build vital relationships with peers, receive (and give) instruction on relevant issues, invest in the lives of others, and just plain have fun. If you’re 50 or older, you’re an O. We invite you to join us on the journey!
What does that O stand for, anyway? It doesn’t stand for Old, nor does it stand for Oregon Ducks (though that would make some very happy for sure). O is for the Olive tree referred to in Psalm 52. It flourishes in the house of God, lives full and fruitful years, and is firmly and forever rooted.
But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God. I trust in the steadfast love of God forever and ever. Psalm 52:8
One of our goals is to provide a variety of opportunities for people in the “O zone” to get together. Our Gathering to Grow events are designed to educate and enrich. Our Fun and Friendship events are just that. Some events are just for the O’s, and others are sponsored by the O’s for the whole church.
