Hello Morning Star family, I’m William (Bill) Schutz. My wonderful and lovely wife Jan and I have been married for 35 years since both graduating from Oregon State University (Go Beavs!!). I retired in 2017 after spending 40 years in service with the U.S. Army and the Oregon Army National Guard. We have two awesome daughters. Responding to Needs

Many of you have generously asked how you can best support victims of local wildfires, especially those individuals and families that have been displaced. Right now there is a coordinated effort by the United Way of the Mid-Willamette Valley to accept in-kind donations along with coordinating volunteers to help organize donated items and get them out to evacuees.
