Middle East Update
At the Gospel concert in the Middle East, more than 500 people gathered and many heard the message of Jesus for the first time. Many shared they were facing depression, loneliness, and a deep sense of brokenness. Seventy-two people made decisions to follow Christ that night, and we celebrated with new believers who are discovering the hope of new life in Jesus, a hope that will never leave or forsake them.
Please join us in praying for the Middle East:
For these 72 new believers, especially women and children who may face hardship or rejection from family and community as they begin their journey of faith
For churches and church leaders, as many in the region have moved services online
For protection and safety amidst the missile strikes
For our friends who work in the aviation industry particularly, as the airports have been targeted; pray for wisdom and protection
Thailand
We’re especially excited for our upcoming outreach to Thailand because it brings several firsts for RSA. It will be our first outreach over Easter weekend, and we’ll be gathering all the current evangelists in our Evangelist Equipping Program (EEP) as they step into new opportunities to preach at festival events. Their wives will be joining us to share their personal testimonies of faith, with Reid and Carmen there offering feedback and support. We’re so glad to have all of them with us!
Schedule:
March 26 & 27: Team travels to Thailand
March 28 & 29: Festival nights in Nonthaburi
March 30: Team travels to Phuket
March 31 - April 2: Gospel truck
April 3: Youth event
April 4: Women's event and church evangelism event
April 5: Visiting and preaching at churches and festival for families in Phuket
Prayer Requests:
For the EEP evangelists as they prepare their sermons, that the Holy Spirit would give them words that connect clearly within the culture and lead to a strong response
For safe travel for the entire team
For good weather during all outreach events
For unity among the local churches and a shared heart to reach those who do not yet know Jesus
For the interpreters supporting the team, that they would communicate clearly and effectively
For spiritual protection over everyone involved
Together in prayer,
Ruth Daniels

——
Hi Jared, this is Kirk Purdy again, Outreach Coordinator for RSA.
We are so grateful for what God has been doing here in Thailand!
We wrapped up our first festival in Nonthaburi, and it exceeded every expectation. Over 500 people attended on the second night alone, with the vast majority being non-believers. When we ask people here if they know Jesus, the humbling answer has been, "No, who is that? Where does he live?" That tells us everything about why we are here!
We were especially moved to see the Burmese migrant community come out to join us. Many are from tight-knit laboring communities with few connections to the Gospel, and their presence was a precious gift.
Now the whole team is safely in Phuket for Easter weekend!
Coming up, we have:
Gospel truck outreach events (the Gospel truck is a truck that converts into a stage so we can host mini festivals anywhere)
A youth event, a women's event, and a family festival
A village church outreach
The BMX team is already setting up the ramps for the festival, and there's even been a cool breeze, a small mercy we're grateful for!
Please pray with us: for open hearts, for the team's energy and health, and for God to move powerfully this Easter. Please also pray specifically for the Evangelists in our EEP cohort, who will each be sharing a sermon at the outreaches.
Thank God Thailand has freedom of religion, so we can share photos and stories freely. More updates to come!
Gratefully,
Kirk Purdy, Outreach Coordinator

Local Partner - HOPE Pregnancy Clinic
There are a few current opportunities for our community to support women, babies and families by volunteering or donating items. We invite you, your family, small group, church or other community group to get involved and help provide needed resources.
Diapers! We are low once again on our supply of diapers. We accept all sizes from preemie to size 6. Smaller sizes are included in our Baby Gift bags, Parenting Initiative Welcome bags, as well as in the Blessings Boutique. Larger sizes are available to patients and Parenting Initiative participants, who may return for resources when needed.
Baby Board Books - these are included in our Baby Gift Bags and are also an incentive item in our Parenting Initiative program. We encourage our patients to read to their babies and begin their literacy exposure early.
Donations may be dropped off at the clinic anytime during open hours (Mon-Fri, 9 am to 5 pm) or they can be shipped directly to us at:

Thank you! We are so grateful for the many partners who work with us to help those in need.
Our next volunteer training session, for Advocates and Mentors, will begin in May. If you would like to work with patients directly, either as an Advocate at the Clinic or as a Mentor in the Parenting Initiative, we are currently accepting applications. We invite you to an informational session on April 7th to ask questions and learn more about the positions. See the image below for more details.
Advocates serve a regular weekly 4 hour shift and provide options counseling and other patient support. Our advocates need to be highly discerning, full of compassion and great listeners.
Mentors meet with one or more patients for one hour a week in Hope’s Parenting Initiative. Mentees will learn parenting skills while also earning valuable baby items such as car seats and strollers.
To be considered for this upcoming training, please submit your application by April 10th (link below). You will then be contacted to schedule an interview with our Volunteer Training Specialist.
Questions? Please contact Kelly at kelly.gilbert@hopeforsalem.org
We at Hope Pregnancy Clinic are thankful to partner with you in our mission to serve and empower women facing unplanned pregnancies and to introduce them to Jesus. It is with your time, prayer and material and financial support that we are able to fully say "you can do this, we will walk with you" when a woman feels alone and unable to parent her baby.
The pregnancy and parenting education we provide, as well as the items such as diapers, wipes, maternity and baby clothing, truly help our patients feel supported and able to say yes to life. Thank you for your generosity and care for our patients and their babies!
