Our MStar Kids Trunk or Treat was an incredible afternoon of candy, creativity, and community, and we couldn’t be more thankful for everyone who made it happen!
We set a goal of collecting 275 bags of candy, and our church family went above and beyond by donating around 350 bags in just about a week's time! Your generosity helped make the day extra special for the thousands of treats we were able to share with our community.
The forecast called for rain all day, and we weren't sure what to expect. But just as we were getting ready to open, the weather cooperated! We may have had a few drops here and there, but that certainly didn't keep people away.
We estimate that 1,500–2,000 people joined us for the afternoon! Families filled our parking lot, kids showed off their costumes, and our creative trunk hosts welcomed guests with candy and plenty of smiles.
One of the most encouraging parts of the day was hearing so many guests comment on how welcoming the atmosphere felt. Our trunk hosts didn't just hand out candy; they greeted families with genuine smiles and made people feel welcome.
That's what we love about events like this. They're an opportunity to open our doors, serve our community, build relationships, and show the love of Jesus in practical ways.
And yes, we passed out every last piece of candy!
