Kids Programs During Morning Services
Our morning kids programs are designed to meet your child’s needs based on developmental stage and age, so very few of our age groups are combined. Here’s what you can expect to find for kids during our morning services.
Little World (Ages 6 weeks-2 Years)
Four downstairs classrooms are dedicated to Little World. Kids as young as 2 years old will be hearing Bible stories and learning Bible verse songs.
The Playhouse (Ages 3-4-5-Kindergarten)
Four upstairs classrooms are dedicated to The Playhouse. We know that kids learn through play, so our most curious and energetic kids are taught Bible stories through high energy worship songs, games, and interactive story-telling.
Adventure Mountain (Grades 1-2-3)
We open walls between three classrooms to make one large upstairs classroom dedicated to Adventure Mountain. Now that kids have become confident readers, we’re helping kids transition from Bible storybooks to our traditional Bibles. In this program, kids will learn that the stories they’ve been reading are true and have a lesson for each of us. Classroom activities include high-energy worship songs, slow worship songs, interactive Bible teaching, games, and small group time. Kids in this program also work towards Oreo cookie parties!
Bridge 45 (Grades 4-5)
One modular building is dedicated to Bridge 45. Tweens (not little kids anymore, but not quite teenagers either) have a lot of questions … and we’re here to help them find answers! Our goal in Bridge 45 is to help kids achieve their Top 10 which include knowing the books of the Bible, knowing how to use Scripture references, and being able to share their own story of how God has worked in their lives. Regular “Q&A Sessions” are scheduled where members of our congregation, including pastors and church staff, will answer questions kids have about the Bible. Also included with Bridge 45 are quarterly fellowship activities to build safe and genuine relationships with other kids their ages.
