Hello! I’m originally from Washington and moved to Salem in 2005 to attend Corban University. I’ve been going to Morning Star since the first week I was in Salem, and I love this church and its people so much! I think middle schoolers and young adults are some of the coolest people around. I get to hang out with students and leaders and talk about life and Jesus all day, every day. It’s pretty much the best thing ever.

Some fun facts about me: I love hiking, camping, hammocking, exploring, and being out in the middle of nowhere. I like black coffee and candles and reading books and being cozy by the fireplace. I like hanging out with friends and playing games until all hours of the night. I’m a night owl and a morning person…don’t ask me how that works. I like road trips and driving and I spend more time on Google Maps than any normal person should. I coach swim team in the summer and winter seasons. My favorite color is white, and yes, I know it’s not technically a color.

I love knowing people’s middle names. Mine is Marie, in case you were wondering. Really, I love finding out all sorts of stuff about people. I love hearing their stories and seeing how God works in each individual life so uniquely. I love walking through the triumphs and the hardships alongside people. I’d love to meet you and hear your story!
