WNTR WKND 2026 DETAILS

We're so excited for WNTR WKND! This weekend is going to be a great time for us all to learn and grow together. Here's all the info you need before we leave!

Final Registration will begin at 4 pm on Friday, February 13 and will be leaving at 5 pm SHARP. Buses will return to MStar by 12:30 pm on Monday, February 16. If for any reason you are not able to be at registration on Friday, please email kate@mstar.chuch as soon as possible.

There will be options to go fishing on Saturday if you'd like to bring your poles and tackle. There will also be an opportunity to go ice skating!

WHAT TO PACK: Bible, warm and waterproof clothes and shoes, toiletries and undies for the weekend, flashlight, sleeping bag, pillow, towel, shoes for the showers if wanted. We will be sleeping in heated cabins with bunks and camp mattresses provided.

OPTIONAL: Umbrella, board or card games to play, crafts to do, football/frisbee/basketball, etc.

WHAT NOT TO BRING: Anything illegal or dangerous, such as explosives, drugs, weapons, or fire producing objects, OR ANYTHING that would potentially distract you or anyone else (this would include but is not limited to, most entertainment equipment, electronic devices, reading materials, cell phones, iPods, bad attitudes, pranks, video games, laser pointers, etc.). Also, don’t bring anything super valuable or that will break your heart if it gets lost or broken.

CELL PHONE POLICY: We want to keep camp a place free from distractions, specifically internet access and social media. So we will be implementing a no phones at camp policy. Students will be allowed their phones on the bus rides to and from camp, but we will be collecting them and holding them in secure storage for the weekend. If you need to get in contact with your student, our camp directors Robert Beckley and Daniel Bennet will have their phones.

Your student will have limited access to their phones during free time and will be able and encouraged to keep in contact with you!

Students will be allowed to call parents whenever needed, parents can call our camp directors or small group leaders. Our goal is to limit distractions, not parental access.

QUESTIONS CAN BE DIRECTED TO KATE SNEGIREV AT

The forecast calls for rain, and you'll need to walk back and forth between cabins, bathrooms, and the lodge. Make sure to bring appropriate shoes and a rain coat!
