If you want to see people follow Jesus more closely and be in community with others as the body of Christ then leading a Life Group is a great opportunity!
Leaders are not alone. You'll be paired with a host and have the opportunity to train up an assistant leader in your group as the opportunity arises. You'll be prepared and equipped to support your group well. We have occasional trainings, encouragement, celebrations of what God is doing, and guidance from a Life Group coach if a hard situation arises in your group.
A willing heart to make Jesus known to believers and non-believers alike is a key part of this role, as you get to disciple people in the family of Christ as well as the community around us.
Once your group starts meeting and you learn about your members you'll be on your way to create a unique outreach opportunity. Finding something that fits with the strengths, spiritual gifts, experiences and passions of the people in your group is a fun and encouraging process that you'll get to lead them through!

want to HOST an existing life group?
If you want to get to know people and grow in relationship with other believers, opening up your home is a great way to do both! Hosting is simple, if you've got a home where people can meet, typically about 10-14 people on a weekly basis, and you're willing to have some sort of snack that either you, or another member of the group provides then you're well on your way.
