Music and creative arts have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up in a family of five, I was pretty much born onto the stage and learned to sing and harmonize with my parents and siblings at an early age. I even have a video of me pounding on a “custom” set of drums made out of buckets and pans at four years old. Later in life, my brother and I saved up for an actual drum set and learned how to play drums, guitar and other instruments by listening to our favorite records on repeat. To this day, I still love playing music with my family, and I write, record and perform music with my siblings under the alias of “TheBandFoster”.
I have always had a passion and love for the church and how God uses it to bring people together to better experience him. To me, music and creative media are not only passion projects in my life, but also powerful tools to impact people in new and innovative ways for Jesus. These creative tools are powerful, and have the ability to impact people in a way that no other form of communication can. There’s little that fills me up more than being able to use the gifts I’ve been given to help people see and experience the love of Jesus in powerful ways.
I am insanely in love with my wife, Morgan, and I am incredibly blessed to be able to have her, our beautiful daughter, Rian, and our son, Isaac in my life. My wife is truly my better half! As a family, we love the outdoors, hikes, movies and hanging out together on the regular.
If I’m not playing an instrument or singing on stage, you’re likely to find me behind the lens of a camera, a computer or a sound board as I love creative media and audio/video production. Throw anything having to do with music, media or creativity my way, and I’m all for it!
I love Jesus with all that I am, and I live to make him known. I strive to be a good leader and love to help people find and develop their God given talents as they help others to do the same. Being a part of the Morning Star family is incredible, and I am excited to learn, lead and grow with my family in the time God has us here to come.
