Staff – Savanna Yuzko

Hey, ya’ll! My name is Savanna. I am Washington born and Oregon raised! Got married in 2007 at 19 to my hardworking husband, Alex. We have two gorgeous girls, Baylee June and Charlottle (Charlee) Mae, and the newest member to our little family the handsome little man named Colton Aleksandr. We started going to Morning Star in 2009, when our oldest was six months old, and never looked back. We absolutely love the home we found at this church and have always felt welcome here. I have been volunteering in Children’s Ministries since 2011, where I started in the toddlers’ room, but fairly quickly began teaching kiddos in the kindergarten class. My place at church has recently shifted and you can now find me hanging around Adventure Mountain. I couldn’t be more excited!!! In the outside world, I am a dental assistant by trade, but have always adored working with kids and consider myself a big kid. I am not afraid to be silly and you can bet if your kids are in my class, they will be fully loved and constantly prayed over!
