Dear Morning Star Family and Friends,
We hope you had a Merry Christmas and all of us here at Morning Star want to wish you a Happy New Year! Thank you so much for your faithful generosity this past year. We have seen God at work in our lives and we’re grateful for how he is leading you to pursue a Jesus-first life. As 2023 comes to an end, we invite you to help us finish strong with a year-end financial gift. We usually receive close to 25% of our ministry budget in November and December and strong year-end giving is a springboard to accomplishing what God has for us in 2024. Our giving this year has been much lower than expected, hovering at 10-12% behind budget, so we appreciate your prayers for a strong end in 2023. Thank you for considering a year-end gift . . . and a very special thank you to those who have already participated!
If you are being led to give, keep in mind that you have until Sunday, December 31 at midnight in order for your gifts to count as 2023 charitable contributions. You can give online by clicking here. You can also drop your donation in the secure dropbox at the church offices. If you choose to mail your donation, please be sure it’s postmarked no later than December 30 (since the mail doesn’t run on Sunday). Please note that Morning Star’s offices will be closed the week between Christmas and New Year’s, but we will be checking the mail daily!
